I have a '94NA that I bought a few months ago after looking for a year and a half or so. I bought this one because it was in great condition, had low miles, had all the options I wanted (leather, 5 speed, etc) and was silver. I like the NA but it's acceleration is not very impressive. It feels like a heavy car, there is no neck snapping acceleration. This is good in my case as I tend to like to go fast, really fast -tire smoking 4 wheel drift in 3rd gear fast. The NA makes that difficult (cough). If I had bought a TT, I'm sure I would have a speeding ticket or 2 by now. My '94 Miata felt quicker and revved easier. I'm sure that there are things that I can do to make it better and that eventually I'll be happy with the performance of the car. I do know that every time I see my car, I say to myself "Shit, that's a good looking car", that kinda makes it all worth it for me.
My advice: buy an NA, AND a Ducati 996.
